The following images and details are from www.ironton-ohio.com
Clicking these photos will bring up a larger version.

Ro-Na Theater established in 1949 is part of a generation of vaudeville houses and movie palaces built throughout the state of Ohio. At it’s peak, the Ro-Na Theater was named one of Ohio’s finest theatres.

Now owned by the City of Ironton, the Ro-Na Theatre is part of a comprehensive downtown revitalization project. Future plans for the facility include, live stage performance, movie showings, meeting rooms and art education.

Comprehensive Mission Statement: The mission of the RO-NA Restoration Project is to return and sustain the tradition of professional theatre to the residents of the City of Ironton through preservation of an historic landmark, quality programming and the encouragement, training and development of artists.

Phase I Mission Statement: To secure funding to replace the roof of the Ro-Na Theatre.

What is our Phase I Goal? Raise $100,000.00 to repair the roof.

How are we going to pursue the Phase I Goal? Donations & fundraising events.

Why do we want to go there? To help with the City of Ironton's downtown revitalization efforts.

Pictures from a 2008 edition of the Ashland Daily Independent newspaper.

These are to show you the state the theater was in when this project started.
