June 08, 2009 - Austyn's is my favorite restaurant in Ironton, my hometown. It has a great classy bistro atmosphere situated in what used to be a train depot. Their steaks are the BEST!!!!!! Also, the Crab Cake Sandwiches are great. This is one classy restaurant in Ironton. Prices are a little on the steep side ($15-30)... but worth it for the great service and great atmosphere and especially great food. Try it when you come to Ironton!!!!!!!!!

June 06, 2009 - Likes it - Austyn's, the new upscale restaurant in downtown Ironton, would be a good restaurant anywhere. For Ironton it's a great restaurant. They have done a nice job of remodeling the old train depot. The food is remarkably good and so is the service. Good enough, I believe, to draw customers from Ashland and Huntington once word gets out about this place. Try the "Prawn Prosciutto" appetizer, I thought it was terrific.

I read one review about Austyn's being a pretentious place, but I would have to say that I did not find it to be that at all. The people were friendly and helpful. I have eaten at Austyn's in Ironton twice. Both times, my food was wonderful and the facility was clean and well kept. The service was good, but maybe not the best I've ever had, but hey, I go for the food, not for the waiter anyway!! Portions are very large. Often 2 can share one order. If you're hungry, Austyns is a great choice. Just remember to bring your money, you'll need it.‎

Austyns is a wonderful Italian restaurant. Family or couples dining. Portions served are enough for two. Italian food lovers should love their selection on the menu.

I am in Austyn's restaurant last two months with my friend, and I want to visit this restaurant again. I am planning to go in there after my work is all done.
